There are many fun sweet treats to indulge in during the holidays! Protecting your family’s smiles is important through every season, including festive ones. Here are some delicious, tooth-friendly snacks you and your children can enjoy during the winter holidays.

Santa Fruit Kabobs

Fruit can help satisfy your child’s sweet tooth while providing healthful nutrients and fiber. Santa-themed fruit kabobs are a cute food craft to make around Christmas. Start with a grape, then add a banana slice and a whole strawberry. Then, top it with a small marshmallow to mimic the puff ball on Santa’s hat.

Reindeer Celery Snacks

On Dasher, on Dancer, on Prancer, on Vixen! To make a snack that resembles Santa’s reindeer, you’ll need celery, a nut butter, pretzel sticks, shelled sunflower seeds, and dried cranberries or seedless cherries. Fill the washed, sliced celery with nut butter. Then, break a single pretzel and place each piece at one end to resemble antlers. Add the seeds beneath the pretzels for eyes, then finish the reindeer with a cranberry or cherry nose.

Wreath Vegetable Platter

Decorate a circular plate with broccoli, chopped carrots, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, and any other of your favorite veggies. Just make sure there’s enough broccoli so the platter looks like a wreath. Slice cheese using a star-shaped cookie cutter to decorate the wreath. Pair with hummus or other savory dip.

Hard-Boiled Egg Snowmen

Eggs contain protein that allows your body to build and repair its tissues. Boil your eggs, stack two together, and secure them with a toothpick or an uncooked string of pasta. Cut some carrot slivers to use for the snowman’s nose. Use peppercorns to give your snowmen buttons and a smile. Pretzel sticks can be used as arms. Two carrot dimes can be used as a top hat.
